Principal Message 5/1/26

Dear Central Family,

Students worked hard this last week to complete required Ohio State Testing. We are in the final weeks of school and students really need to focus and finish strong! Especially our Seniors!  We will have a Make-Up day on Friday, May 8, to allow students to get additional help from teachers. Seniors last day is Thursday, May 14.  All work must be complete by 3pm to be eligible to walk at graduation.

SENIOR Deadlines & Events

Any student that has ordered a Cap and Gown for graduation will be able to pick up their order at Lakota Central's main office during the hours of 7:30-3pm.

🎓 Graduation Practice

Date: Friday, May 15, 2026

Location: Central High School

Time: 10:00 a.m.

Attendance: Mandatory

Note: Senior picnic will follow practice.

🎓 Graduation Ceremony

Date: Monday, May 18, 2026

Location: Centerpointe Church

Time: (students arrive at 6:00 PM, ceremony begins, 7:00 PM)

Senior Connections Summer School

Seniors who do not pass required classes will be recommended for Senior Connections, a summer school option designed to help students complete remaining coursework and meet graduation requirements.

Fees, Chromebooks, & Diploma Information

💲 Student Fees

All outstanding student fees must be paid online through PaySchools.

Students with unpaid fees will not receive their diploma until all balances are cleared.

💻 Chromebook & Charger Return

All seniors must return their school-issued Chromebook and charger.

Students who do not return them will be charged the replacement cost, and this fee must be paid before receiving their diploma.

🎓 Diploma Distribution

Diplomas will be given to students when they return the rental gown back. If students do not participate in graduation, their diplomas can be picked up on Tuesday, May 19.
