Principal Message 12/12/25

Dear Central Families,

Happy Friday! Works crews are currently working to replace a water line into our building. It should be repaired soon and back to school on Monday.

Monday, Dec. 15 and Tuesday, Dec. 16 are State testing days at Central. It is important that all students required to take these tests are present on those 2 days. Students that have no State tests, do not report to school on those days. Students should be completing assignments, working on APEX or canvas courses to ensure they will pass their classes and earn credit. This is the last week of the semester!

2 Year Program Applications – Deadline January 31

SENIOR INFORMATION-For December Graduates

Complete All Coursework:
Check your Canvas and Apex courses to ensure all assignments are completed and submitted.

Submission Deadline:
All work must be submitted by Thursday, December 18, 2025.

Graduation Requirements:

• Submit your Early Graduation Form.
• Pay any outstanding school fees (check HAC for details).
• Have your Chromebook and charger ready to return on your final day, Thursday, December 18.

Your attention to these details will ensure a smooth path to graduation. Congratulations in advance on reaching this milestone!

If you have any questions, please reach out as soon as possible.

• A reminder to all Seniors to finish this semester strong to remain on track to graduate. Some students need to pass Rise Up and turn in their OMJ form.
• Graduation is on Monday, May 18th at Centerpointe Church.  The ceremony begins at 7pm. Mandatory graduation practice is Friday, May 15 at 10am.
• Seniors should use the common app to apply to colleges.  Students can then request transcripts to colleges through School Links on OneLogin. 
• FAFSA website is now open for families to apply for financial aid to colleges.  

Upcoming Dates:

December 15-16: State Tests in Math, Science and Social Studies

December 18: Last day of in-person classes for the semester
