Principal Message 11/17

Hello Central Families-

We hope you had a good week. We spent the week working through our classes and enjoying the beautiful weather. We spoke to our students again about gratitude this week and displayed their gratitude feathers from last week. Today, we had a number of students attend a Butler Tech field trip to learn more about junior/senior programs. We are excited to hear what they think.

We are looking forward to working with students on Monday and Tuesday of next week before we go on Thanksgiving break. Students are off school Wednesday (11/22), Thursday (11/23), and Friday (11/24) of next week.  When we return from break we will be in full testing mode with anyone RETAKING Algebra I or English 10 testing on Friday. All other students taking state tests (enrolled in American History, Government, Biology, English 10, or Geometry) will test on Friday, December 8th and Friday, December 15th. Students can take up to two parts of a test in one day. 

Seniors and their loved ones should be aware that cap and gown orders are encouraged to come in by December 4th before prices go up. Reminder that graduation is May 13th. Yearbooks are available for purchase as well. See the link listed later in message.
